Absolutely! Your entire head remains above the cryo-sauna at all times. The door cannot lock and a trained staff member is there monitoring you throughout the entire process until the session has ended.
Every client and every situation is different. Some clients find one session to have outstanding results, while others need several more to feel the effects from cryotherapy. Initially, we generally recommend 2-3 sessions, within the first two weeks, as this gives our clients a better judgement of how cryotherapy is affecting them. We always suggest doing cryotherapy more often in the beginning stages, and later maintaining with fewer sessions. There are no negative effects to doing cryotherapy on a daily basis; in fact, most clients find that when they complete more cryotherapy sessions in a close succession, the effects of the therapy become significantly more powerful.

The following conditions are contraindications to whole body cryotherapy.
Severe hypertension (BP>180/100)
Acute or recent myocardial infarction
Unstable angina pectoris
Symptomatic cardiovascular disease
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
Acute or recent cerebrovascular accident
Symptomatic lung disorders
Age less than 14 years (parental consent needed for those under 18 y/o)
Acute kidney and urinary tract disease
Neither! The session is completely dry and does not make your skin wet, nor does it leave behind any residue. So there is no need to shower before or after your session. However, if you do plan on showering before your session, please refrain from applying moisturizers or oils as the skin should be completely dry before entering the cryo-sauna.
WBC is very well tolerated and has minimal risks: Fluctuations in blood pressure during the procedure by up to 10 points systolically (this effect reverses after the end of the session, as peripheral circulation returns to normal), allergic reaction to extreme cold (rare), claustrophobia, redness, and skin burns (only if exposed to low temperatures longer than recommended).
During your session, women should remove all clothing, while men are required to wear undergarments. We recommend wearing something you can easily take off and put back on. We also recommend taking off all jewelry before arriving as you will be required to take off anything from the neck down before entering the cryo-sauna. Socks, slippers and gloves will be provided for you.
